I was very fortunate to have met Sternberg sensei during his early years as a prominent black belt Karate competitor and instructor. When the Karate instructor position became vacant at our school, my first step was to turn to Sternberg sensei and request his assistance and direction. We are fortunate at our dojo and organization to have Dr. Alex Sternberg, and/or Hoshiyama Shotokan USA to oversee the karate training offered at our Woodside dojo and to also have Yordanys sensei as the instructor.
